Mark Sorensen

Mr. Sorensen is a managing director for AB CarVal, responsible for global fundraising and investor relations. Mr. Sorensen joined AB CarVal in 2004 as a managing director in corporate securities, responsible for managing short- and long-term investments. He began his career in credit trading in 1990, and has worked in New York and London for JP Morgan, Bear Stearns and Toronto Dominion. Mr. Sorensen also served in the U.S. Navy for four years, receiving an honorable discharge. He received his B.A. in political economy from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, graduating with honors.
